Alberta Aviation, Aerospace, and Defence Award

 Each year Alberta Aviation, Aerospace, & Defence solicits from the general public nominations of individuals or organizations in recognition of outstanding achievement in Alberta aviation community. The Jack & Molly Reilly Award is one of the awards for this provincial recognition.

 JACK & MOLLY REILLY MEMORIAL AWARD

Molly set an example as a professional pilot of proven courage, dedication and skill during an outstanding aviation career. The quiet determination, dignity and grace of this extraordinary lady won friendship and adoration where she flew. Jack’s career includes serving in WWII, as a flight instructor, chief pilot and extensive flying in the Arctic.He became a Honourary Snowbird of 431 Squadron Demonstration Team on August 2004. Molly and Jack are members of Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame.

CRITERIA

Presented annually by Alberta Aviation, Aerospace, and Defence to the individual or organization engaged directly with the industry and has made an outstanding contribution to civil aviation or aerospace in the province of Alberta.
